Art NIght proposal

For this years art night, I intend to play around with an idea that I thought of this previous summer. In the next few weeks, many of the magnolias and other plants will be budding and losing their beautiful leaves. Once this process happens, I intend to collect this assortment of leaves and write adjectives on them describing a particular topic. Once I have done this, I intend to either arrange these pedals in a unique way along a neutral background, or place them in a water source of some kind. Perhaps I will use a swimming pool for this water source or have them floating along a stream, it is all contingent upon where I decide to shoot my photographs.

I plan on taking these photographs in my free time this week, and if I am too busy this week, I will shoot all my photographs no later than this weekend. I have no real new photoshop topic in mind that I wish to play around with, I believe that my photographs will provide to be interesting enough by themselves, with the proper composition. However, just because I am not planning on using any foreign photoshop techniques at the moment does not mean that I am completely shutting the idea completely out of my head. Once I have my two images I will have a better idea of how I should manipulate them. My only requirement for my photographs is proper lighting, and composition, if I can execute these elements correctly then 

the result should prove to be quite effective. The reference photo above is a possible neutral background for the photographs that I had in mind, however I may not use the color red but I like the fact that the subtle red  background really brings out the detail in the flower above. 

I intend for the size of the petals to be around the size of the petals found on this flower above.
